Job summary

Adara Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care to patients in their homes under the direction of a registered nurse. You will deliver compassionate, safe care while following the plan of care and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Colorado CNA certification or eligibility required or achievable within four months.
• Compassionate attitude toward care of the sick and elderly.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Effective communication and respectful patient care.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care per the plan of care under RN supervision.
• Assists with ambulation or exercises as assigned.
• Assists with medications ordinarily self-administered as assigned.
• Completes visit records in a timely manner per agency policy.
• Reports changes in the patient's condition to the RN.
• Attends in-service and continuing education programs as scheduled.
• Participates in staff meetings and patient care conferences as scheduled.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintains a clean and neat work environment.
