Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program OR able to pass Florida Home Health Aide competency test.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five+ years prior experience in senior caregiving.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proof of auto insurance with your name on the policy.
• Proof of current CPR certification (American Heart Association, in-person validation).
• Ability to pass a Level II Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as transferring in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for clients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, preparing meals, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of client care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Give medication reminders.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
