Job summary

Ovation Home Care seeks Home Health Aides and CNAs to join our in-home care team in Florida. You will work directly with clients in their homes, following individualized care plans and building genuine relationships with those you serve.

We value compassion, organization, and clear communication as you provide personalized care while ensuring a healthy, safe environment that meets patients' needs. Prior experience in home health or hospice care is a plus and CPR certification is essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet HHA program graduation or Florida competency test requirement.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of senior caregiving experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Auto insurance in your name required.
• CPR certification (AHA) with in-person validation required.
• Ability to pass Level II Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities (transfers, baths, mobility).
• Care for clients by housekeeping, meal prep, and personal care.
• Maintain records of client care and report observations to supervisor.
• Build rapport with patients through conversation and reading aloud.
• Give medication reminders.
• Engage patients in exercises or activities.

We are seeking Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team! In this role, you will work directly with clients in their homes, following individualized care plans.

You will operate with compassion, providing personalized and attentive care while building genuine relationships with those you serve. Being detail-oriented, highly organized, and dedicated to creating a healthy environment that meets patients' needs is essential.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for success in this position. Previous experience in home health or hospice care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as transferring in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for clients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, preparing meals, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of client care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Give medication reminders
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program OR able to pass the Florida Home Health Aide competency test that we will administer prior to your interview.
• High School Diploma or GED
• >Five years prior experience in senior caregiving
• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of auto insurance with your name on the policy
• Proof of current CPR certification (Valid means the CPR course was certified by the American Heart Association and includes in-person validation of your skills)
