AFRICAN CAREGIVERS LLC is looking for a female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to a young woman with autism. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, transport, and social engagement, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Compensation is $22.00 per hour with mileage reimbursement. This part-time role offers flexibility with a schedule from Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature.

Formación

• Female caregiver strongly preferred based on care needs.

African Caregivers LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to a 22‑year‑old young woman with autism. Female candidates are strongly preferred due to the client's personal care needs and family preferences. Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one support in the home and community.
• Assist with community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement.
• Safely transport the client to doctor’s appointments, therapy appointments, and community activities.
• Encourage independence and support the development of daily living and social skills.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

• Female caregiver strongly preferred based on the client's care needs and preferences.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal vehicle (required).
• Clean driving record.
• Comfortable transporting the client to appointments and community activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
