Job summary

Stand Out Home Care is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to join a growing team in New Jersey. You will provide compassionate in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and support clients to stay independent at home.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey CHHA license is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Must pass background check and health screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities like bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Follow the care plan provided by the nurse and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care activities.
• Support client safety and well-being in the home setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders

• Follow the individualized care plan provided by the nurse

• Report any changes in the client’s condition to the agency

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey CHHA license (Required)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Compassionate, reliable, and professional

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently

• Driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
