Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey CHHA license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Candidate is compassionate, reliable and professional.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Driver’s license with reliable transportation preferred.
• Background check and health screening must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Follow the care plan provided by the nurse.
• Report changes in client condition to the agency.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
