Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care for seniors and adults who need assistance to live safely at home. You will support daily living activities, offer companionship, and provide emotional support to clients in their own homes.

Caregivers will assist with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation while following care plans. Valid CPR certification and reliable transportation are essential; prior caregiving experience is

Qualifications

• Background screening Level 2 required.
• Valid government-issued photo ID and second form of identification (Social Security card or Passport) required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Previous caregiving, HHA, or CNA experience preferred (but not always required).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Toileting and incontinence care.
• Assistance with walking and transfers.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and outings.
• Follow care plans and document services provided.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Communicate changes in client condition to the office promptly.
