Right at Home Greater Jax is hiring Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities in Jacksonville, FL. The role emphasizes compassionate care, personal assistance, and improving quality of life in a fast-growing home care company with 25+ years of experience.

Candidates should have a CNA license or HHA certificate, a valid driving license, CPR certification, and the ability to pass a background check. Training is provided, with opportunities for referrals and bonuses.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate is required.
• Valid Driver License or State ID.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, etc.).
• CPR certification (not online).
• TB chest x-ray or test.
• Level 2 background check.
• Experience with dementia care and medications CEU preferred.
• 1 letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Perform light housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes.
• Prepare meals and snacks per care plan.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Provide medication reminders as prescribed.
• Support with(range of motion) exercises.
• Provide dementia care and companionship activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
• 1 letter of recommendation
