Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to join our Lake Worth, FL team. You will provide in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and support patients in a respectful, dignified manner.

Essential tasks include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance. A valid CNA/HHA credential, CPR, and background screening are required; drivers and insurance are preferred. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license or HHA certificate.
• Must hold a valid driver license or state ID.
• Must provide second form of ID and auto insurance.
• Background screening at Level 2 per Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with hygiene, ambulation, dressing, and meals.
• Light housekeeping, errands, and transportation to appointments.
• Provide hospice supportive care and medication reminders.
• Assist with exercises and incontinence care as needed.
• Use lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):


• Personal Hygiene


• Ambulation/Transfers


• Dressing/Shaving


• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions


• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments


• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom


• Providing hospice supportive care


• Medication reminders


• Assisting with exercises


• Incontinence care


• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
