Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support an elderly client at home during night shifts. The role emphasizes punctuality, adherence to care plans, and attentive, respectful daily assistance.

You will help with personal care, monitor temperatures and vitals when ordered, assist with mobility and transfers, and document care accurately. Maxim offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow in a trusted home health team.

Qualifications

• Must complete a nursing assistant/home health aide or competency training program as required by State/Federal regulations.
• Completion of Maxim Clinical Competency Program with 80% or higher and demonstrated skills as required by regulations.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Assist with mobility, positioning, transfers, and use of transfer/mobility devices.

This delightful 90-year-old woman enjoys staying up late playing board games with her aide. She is mobile with assistance and requires assistance with toileting. She lives with her loving daughter, a small dog, and a turtle.

Maxim Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide who consistently arrives on time, follows care plans accurately, remains engaged and attentive during shifts, demonstrates initiative, and maintains excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Assistance with personal care activities such as showering, bathing, dressing, etc
• Takes and records oral and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered
• Assists with mobility, positioning, transfers, and using transfer/mobility devices as applicable
• Assists with active and passive range of motion exercises and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant/home health aide or competency training and evaluation program as applicable, per State/Federal regulations
• Successful completion of Maxim’s Clinical Competency Program for home health aides, including successful completion of examinations with score of 80% or higher, and demonstration of all required skills per State/Federal regulations
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
• Meets Maxim and applicable State Background Investigation requirements
• Possession of current CPR certification and First Aid training/certification as applicable, per State regulations
• Participation in Tuberculosis screening/testing requirements per Maxim policy and as applicable, per State regulation
• Successful completion of Maxim’s orientations/trainings, in-service program, and Maxim training examinations, with a score of 80% or greater
• Must be at least 18 years of age
