Under immediate supervision of licensed professional staff, the Home Health Aide assists clients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, ambulation, prescribed exercises, preparing meals including therapeutic diets, and keeping client’s environment organized and neat, and performing related duties.
The Home Health Aide performs the following essential duties:
Minimum Qualifications
CERTIFICATION: Possession of a Home Health Aide Certificate issued by the State of California. Status must show "Valid" at: Certification Verification.
Special Conditions: The above minimum qualifications reflect special conditions associated with the position(s) to be filled. They may differ from the standard minimum qualifications associated with this classification.

Training and Experience Evaluation/Supplemental Questionnaire (SQ) (Weight: 100%)
The Training & Experience Evaluation SQ can be completed now and will also be sent to those qualified candidates who demonstrate to meet the minimum qualifications. The SQ is designed to measure knowledge, skills and/or abilities in job related areas that have been identified as critical for satisfactory performance in this position. All relevant experience, education and/or training must be on the application in order to be reviewed in the scoring process. Candidate responses on the SQ cannot be changed once submitted.
Candidates must achieve a passing score on the Training and Experience Evaluation in order to continue in the selection process and will be placed on the confidential eligible list in rank order according to their final score.
