Zusammenfassung

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide in-home care in Waynesville, NC and surrounding areas. You will arrive on time, follow care plans, and stay engaged with patients during shifts.

Weekend and weekday availability is required, with competitive hourly pay and weekly paychecks. Responsibilities include personal care, vital signs, mobility assistance, and simple therapies as directed.

Qualifikationen

• Must have completed a nursing assistant/home health aide or competency training program as required by State/Federal regulations.
• Must complete Maxim’s Clinical Competency Program for home health aides with score 80% or higher and demonstrate required skills.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Meets Maxim and applicable State Background Investigation requirements.
• CPR certification and First Aid training/certification as applicable per State regulations.
• Participation in Tuberculosis screening/testing per Maxim policy and State regulation.
• Completion of Maxim orientations/trainings with a score of 80% or greater.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of transfer devices as applicable.
• Assist with ROM exercises and simple procedures as ordered (ext. therapy).

Maxim Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide who consistently arrives on time, follows care plans accurately, remains engaged and attentive during shifts, demonstrates initiative, and maintains excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Assistance with personal care activities such as showering, bathing, dressing, etc
• Takes and records oral and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered
• Assists with mobility, positioning, transfers, and using transfer/mobility devices as applicable
• Assists with active and passive range of motion exercises and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant/home health aide or competency training and evaluation program as applicable, per State/Federal regulations
• Successful completion of Maxim’s Clinical Competency Program for home health aides, including successful completion of examinations with score of 80% or higher, and demonstration of all required skills per State/Federal regulations
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
• Meets Maxim and applicable State Background Investigation requirements
• Possession of current CPR certification and First Aid training/certification as applicable, per State regulations
• Participation in Tuberculosis screening/testing requirements per Maxim policy and as applicable, per State regulation
• Successful completion of Maxim’s orientations/trainings, in-service program, and Maxim training examinations, with a score of 80% or greater
• Must be at least 18 years of age
