Job summary

CentraCare Health is looking for a Home Health Aide to provide in-home support for patients in the St. Cloud area. This part-time position requires Certified Nursing Assistant certification and involves assisting patients with daily living activities, physical rehabilitation, and hospice care. Starting pay is $17.75 per hour with additional benefits including medical, dental, and PTO. Reliance on reliable transportation and BLS certification is also necessary.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in MN required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card.
• Home Health Aide certificate and some home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their homes to assist with daily living activities.
• Help patients under physical rehabilitation with various personal cares.
• Provide support for hospice patients at the end of life.

Job description

As a Home Health Aide, you’ll improve the quality of life for patients in a variety of circumstances. You’ll visit your patients in their homes - a place that’s typically most comfortable for them. HHAs help patients who are working on physical rehabilitation by helping them bathe, perform personal cares (including toileting and incontinence needs), dressing changes, mild exercises, and light housekeeping when necessary. This work will help provide a healthy, safe environment for healing. You’ll also visit hospice patients and help them approach end of life with dignity and comfort. This Home Health Aide position will primarily serve patients in the St. Cloud and surrounding areas.

Schedule

• Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks
• Various days Monday - Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Every 7th weekend and every 7th holiday

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $17.75 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $16.36 - $24.56 per hour

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in MN required
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
• Reliable transportation, Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage required
• Home Health Aide certificate and some home care experience preferred
