Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Columbus is seeking compassionate Caregivers for Urbana, OH, to provide one-on-one, non-medical in-home care on 12-hour day and night shifts. This role focuses on companionship and supporting clients in daily activities in-home.

You will work closely with clients to promote safety, comfort, and well-being, assisting with daily living tasks and transport as needed. Applications welcome from those with caring hearts and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience (personal or professional).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive national background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, sweeping, keeping the living area tidy).
• Provide reliable medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise.
• Safely transport clients to appointments or run errands as needed.
• Maintain clear, accurate records of client care and communicate updates to the care management team.
