Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for per diem positions in St. James, NY and across Suffolk County.

Earn $19.65 per hour with flexible 6–12 hour shifts, weekly pay, and immediate case placement. Join a team that values local placements and supportive onboarding to help clients stay safely at home. Per diem HHAs provide ADL assistance, personal care, medications reminders, meals, and companionship in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Active New York State HHA certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of professional HHA experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide personal care, grooming, and hygiene assistance.
• Offer medication reminders as directed.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Qualifications

• Active New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification required

• Minimum of one year of professional HHA experience

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Valid driver's license preferred

• Reliable transportation strongly preferred

Required Health Documentation

• Physical examination completed within the last 12 months

• PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the last 5 years

• MMR immunization documentation within the last 10 years
