Job summary

Freedom Home Care LLC is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) for one-to-one patient care in Plainsboro, NJ. Flexible shifts and clinical support support your role as you deliver in-home assistance with dignity and respect.

Ideal candidates have a state-approved HHA program, at least 1 year of paid home-health experience, reliable transportation, CPR certification, and strong communication skills to engage patients and families daily.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide program (HHA certificate).
• Minimum 1 year of paid home-health or hospice experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach clients’ homes.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
• Clear, confident communication and a passion for relationship-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On ADL Support – Safely assist transfers, bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, protecting dignity.
• Home Environment & Infection Control – Change linens, light laundry, maintain a sanitized space.
• Medication & Symptom Monitoring – Provide reminders, observe changes, document vitals for supervising nurse.
• Therapeutic Engagement – Read aloud, reminisce, guide ROM, or lead short walks for wellness.
• Accurate Documentation – Record care notes in digital charting before shift ends.
