Job summary

Onyx Home Healthcare seeks a part-time Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one in-home care in the New Bedford area. You will assist clients with daily living activities, offer companionship, and help with light housekeeping and meals, while documenting services per care plans.

This role is ideal for adding hours to an existing schedule, with potential to pick up additional cases in nearby communities. A reliable vehicle and compassionate, professional approach are important.

Qualifications

• Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation required to commute to clients.
• Experience with seniors or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor expected.

Responsibilities

Part Time Home Health Aide (HHA) - New Bedford Area

Join our growing team as a part time Home Health Aide (HHA) providing compassionate, one-on-one care to individuals in the community.

Current Available Hours:

• Monday-Friday
• Members are seen during the day
• around 10-15 hours a week

This position is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while having the opportunity to pick up additional hours as they become available.

Additional Hours Available:

As our client needs grow in the area, we will offer additional coverage opportunities in surrounding communities, including Brockton and nearby locations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Accompany clients on community outings when needed
• Follow individualized care plans and document services provided

Qualifications:

• Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
• Reliable transportation
