Brookdale is seeking Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one non-medical care to seniors in their homes or Brookdale communities in Virginia. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available with same-day interviews offered.

Duties include dressing, bathing, grooming, transfers, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation to appointments. Caregivers provide medication reminders and support overall health and well-being through compassionate, personalized service, with a focus on safety, dignity,

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care to seniors in home or community settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as needed.
• Run errands and accompany to appointments; provide transportation assistance.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client well-being.

Responsibilities

• Offer one-on-one companionship and ensure resident safety and dignity.
• Assist residents with daily living activities in a home health environment.
• Support clients with mobility and personal care tasks and mobility transfers.
• Maintain a clean, organized living space and assist with household tasks.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Our home care aides provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
• You will nurture in a home-like setting (the community or the client\'s home) and assist our seniors with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs. You will also help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
• Certifications, Licenses, and other special requirements in accordance with state law, must possess current state certification or state specific required training and provide proof of required training.
