Job summary

Brookdale is hiring Private Duty Caregivers to provide one-on-one companionship and non-medical care to seniors in their homes, with flexible full-time, part-time, and PRN options. You will support daily living activities and help clients stay independent in a caring environment.

Responsibilities include assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care with compassion.
• Provide safe, respectful one-on-one support in the home environment.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in room, bathroom, and living areas.

Responsibilities

• Offer one-on-one companionship and engage clients in daily routines.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, and mobility as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as required.
• Provide transportation to appointments and reminders for medications.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Qualifications

What it takes to be a Caregiver at Brookdale: Our caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity. You will nurture a home-like setting the community and assist our seniors with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs. Our caregivers also help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
