Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living in Jacksonville is seeking Home Health Aides for one-on-one, non-medical care in clients' homes. The role includes companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, and errands to support daily living.

Youll work in Brookdale at Home with flexible full-time, part-time, and PRN options and access to benefits and ongoing training for career growth.

Qualifications

• Provide one-on-one companionship and non-medical hands-on care.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming and transfers.
• Assist with house cleaning, laundry and errands as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized home health support in client homes or Brookdale settings.
• Ensure safety and dignity while assisting seniors with daily tasks.
• Follow state requirements for certifications and training; document care provided.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

• Our home care aides provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
• You will nurture in a home-like setting (the community or the client's home) and assist our seniors with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs. You will also help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
• Certifications, Licenses, and other special requirements in accordance with state law, must possess current state certification or state specific required training and provide proof of required training.
