PurposeCare is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to deliver one-on-one care in clients' homes across Massillon, AL. You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and medication reminders, while maintaining a safe home environment and clear communication with the care team.

Flexible PRN scheduling and the chance to grow your certification through on-the-job training make this role ideal for caring professionals who value independence and meaningful impact in patients’ daily

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• 1 year of caregiving experience (within last 2 years) under RN supervision.
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Support mobility, transfer, and ambulation.
• Provide meal prep and feeding assistance.
• Give medication reminders (no administering).
• Monitor and report changes to office nurse.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Document care per agency standards.
• Travel to patient homes within assigned area.

Join a fast-growing home health team providing one-on-one care in patients’ homes. As a Home Health Aide (HHA) , you’ll help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent — while building meaningful relationships every day.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Support mobility, transfer, and ambulation
• Provide meal prep and feeding assistance

• Maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Document care per agency standards
• Travel to patient homes within assigned area

What You Need:

• Age 18 or older
• 1 year of caregiving experience (within last 2 years) under RN supervision
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently in patient homes
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Willing to complete background check & onboarding

Preferred (Not Required)

• Active HHA or CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification
• CPR and Adult First Aid certification
• Experience supporting seniors or medically complex clients
• Experience working with dementia or memory care patients
