Compassus provides continuum of home-based services including home health and hospice care. We are hiring a Home Health Aide to support patients at home, helping them stay in their homes and maintain activities they enjoy with compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; in licensure-exempt states, applicant must meet one of the specified criteria.
• Must be a licensed/certified aide or have completed an approved nurse aide program with 24 months continuous employment.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Home Health Aide Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred. In states where licensure is not required (AL, FL, MI, MT, NM, TX), applicants must meet one of the following:

• They are already a licensed/certified aide;
• or They have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months

Current CPR certification required.

State Specific Requirements

Indiana Aides required to be registered on the Indiana Nurse Aide Registry, licensure is not required.

Kansas Aide certified required to practice in the state.

Oklahoma Certification required within 4 months of employment as a home health or home care aide.

Wisconsin Aides required to be certified and listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
