Home Instead in Frederick County, MD seeks a part-time Certified Medical Technician (CMT) to provide compassionate in-home support to seniors. The role covers personal care, memory care, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments.

The ideal candidate holds a Maryland CMT license, a valid MD driver’s license with a reliable vehicle, and at least two years of caregiving experience. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of caregiving experience.
• Valid Maryland CMT license.
• Valid Maryland driver's license.
• Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Able to pass reference, background, MVR checks and drug screen.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Background Check

We are seeking a CMT (Certified Medical Technician) available to work part-time in Frederick County, Maryland. Must be a licensed by Maryland State as a CMT.

We have openings in Frederick county for weekdays, weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities Include

• Personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Dementia and memory care support
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Transportation to medical appointments and errands
• Companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Assistance with daily living activities

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of caregiving experience
• Valid Maryland driver's license (not a learner's permit or provisional license)
• Valid CMT license in Maryland
• Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance in your name
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Ability to pass:

  • Pre-employment Drug Screen
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Comfortable working in homes with pets and/or where smoking may occur
