Personal Touch Home Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care for clients in Florence, Kentucky. This full-time role supports daily living activities, mobility, meals, medications, and companionship, enhancing patients’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Prior home health care experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient demeanor with client-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL assistance: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers safely.
• Meal preparation and dietary accommodations.
• Medication reminders and adherence monitoring.
• Light housekeeping and grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and reduce isolation.
• Monitor health and report changes to caregivers.
• Maintain accurate care documentation.

Job Details Overview:

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and supporting their overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying health needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety while moving around their homes.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and monitor their adherence to medication schedules.
• Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities to reduce feelings of isolation.
• Monitoring Health: Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily activities, changes in condition, and any incidents.

Qualifications
