Personal Touch Home Care of Kentucky Inc is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) in Crittenden, KY. You will provide compassionate in-home care, assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, meds, light housekeeping, and companionship to help clients maintain independence.

Pay is $14.00 per hour; full-time or part-time options are available, with a supportive workplace culture and benefits package designed to promote well-being and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Completion of a state-approved HHA training program preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Experience in home health care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transfers to ensure safety in the home.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating according to dietary needs.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor adherence to schedules.
• Perform light housekeeping and grocery shopping to maintain a safe home.
• Offer companionship and engage clients to reduce isolation.
• Monitor health and report changes to healthcare professionals or family.
• Maintain accurate daily care records and incident reports.

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and supporting their overall well‑being. You will play a crucial role in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying health needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety while moving around their homes.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and monitor their adherence to medication schedules.
• Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities to reduce feelings of isolation.
• Monitoring Health: Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health to healthcare professionals or family members.
