Job summary

Personal Touch Home Care is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) for a full-time role in Florence, KY. You will provide compassionate in-home care, assisting with daily living activities, mobility, meals, medications, light housekeeping, and companionship to clients in their own homes.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certification, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and the capacity to work independently or with a team.

• Provide companionship and reduce isolation.
• Monitor client health and report changes to supervisors.

Job Details Overview:

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and supporting their overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying health needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety while moving around their homes.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and monitor their adherence to medication schedules.
• Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities to reduce feelings of isolation.
• Monitoring Health: Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily activities, changes in condition, and any incidents.
