Job summary

Avera is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide in Cresco, IA to assist clients at home or in facilities with personal care, mobility support, and medication reminders. You will perform simple treatments under RN instruction and help with light chores and meal preparation.

Valid CNA/HCA certification or completion of a qualifying training program is preferred, along with a current CPR certification, driver's license, and reliable car insurance.

Qualifications

• Formal certification training or competency evaluation completed.
• C.N.A. or H.C.A. certification and/or experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid car insurance meeting minimum requirements.
• Current CPR certification.

Position Highlights

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists clients in their homes/facilities with personal care activities, exercises, ambulation activities, and medication reminders. Performs simple treatments and procedures such as changing dressings per RN instruction. Provides minor household chores, meal preparation, and runs errands. Communicates with supervisory personnel appropriately.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful completion of a formal certification training program and/or written skills test and competency evaluation.

C.N.A. or H.C.A. certification and/or experience preferred.

Valid driver's license.

Valid car insurance to meet minimum requirements.

Maintains a current CPR certification.
