Job summary

Henderson Roofing is seeking a Project Manager to oversee roofing projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the Production Manager and Executive leaders to ensure timely delivery, client satisfaction, and adherence to safety standards.

The role emphasizes proactive communication, adherence to budgets, and effective subcontractor coordination to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 5–10 years of experience managing roofing projects.
• OSHA and Lead certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of roofing projects from initiation to closeout.
• Support business development with preconstruction activities and client interactions.
• Maintain open communication among project team, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Utilize CRM, CompanyCam, and software tools for project tracking.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards on site.
• Oversee project finances, changes, and claims per company standards.
• Coordinate start dates, customer communication, and issue resolution.

Job description

Summary:

Manages all aspects of roofing projects. Reports to President, General Manager and directly to the Production Manager. The position encompasses a variety of responsibilities relating to project management, strategic planning, and client customer service.

Position Responsibilities:

• Project Management for various project assignments as assigned by the Production Manager, typically roofing projects.
• Assist in the business development efforts of the Company including preconstruction, tactical approaches with project delivery, ensuring a customer-centric focus, client interaction, and presentation assistance
• Promote, foster and maintain open communication among all project team members, consultants, inspectors, applicable agencies, and the supporting subcontractors and trade participants
• Utilizes all the tools and technology required by the company to maintain a smooth process. (i.e. CRM, CompanyCam, and other software programs)
• Adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Best-Practices in the deployment of all work-related activities
• Provide a pro-active and positive Client interface throughout the delivery of services
• Quality control accountability to ensure field compliance with all associated project specifications and technical requirements, including subcontractor activities
• Provide project finance management for all applicable project commitments, contract changes, and claim resolution for all out-of-scope services to be performed in accordance with Company Standards
• Coordinate, support, and verify all projects are closed out to the satisfaction of customer and Company
• Participation in lessons learned sessions, operational development initiatives, and best practice training to support a continuous improvement working philosophy
• Initiate continuous improvement objectives and embrace technology enhancements
• Maintain a willingness to reinvest in yourself with continuing education and professional development initiatives (i.e. Lead Certification, OSHA Certification, etc.) as recommended by the Company
• Other duties as assigned by management

Communication:

• Respond and follow thru on emails and correspondence through CRM and CompanyCam.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.
• Assist customers with their inquiries or concerns with regards to ongoing projects; takes ownership for customer problem resolution.
• Maintains regular communication with the Production Manager, General Manager, staff and field personnel, working cooperatively to develop methods and systems that are most effective for growing the business.
• Maintains company reputation of integrity and professionalism by communicating with customers in a professional manner, returning phone calls promptly, etc.
• Communicates with all employees in a positive and respectful manner.

Job Administration:

• Coordinate with Operations Managers and Coordinators to communicate Start Dates with customers.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Work with the team and assist with resolution of customer issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

• Highschool diploma
• Valid driver’s license (limited minor infractions only)
• 5-10 years in managing projects similar in nature
• OSHA and Lead certifications preferred but not required

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting salary range is $65-80k, varying by experience
• Position is also eligible for uncapped performance bonuses - top performers can earn over $150k total
