Responsibilities

• Using technology to update project schedules, provide daily logs to clients and process purchase orders for materials and subcontractors
• Review scope of work and estimating to generate a project schedule
• Notify trade partners of project schedule forecast and update regularly as project progresses
• Review trade/vendor invoicing prior to payment submission and check for accuracy
• Write any Change Orders needed for variance from original scope of work/contract
• Supervise the work of field crews and give them guidance when needed
• Conduct regular project progress meetings with client and operations manager
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment, including OSHA requirements
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met
• Acquire equipment and materials
• Hire subcontractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
• Review job tracking on a regular basis and analyze any deficiencies
• Create list of project materials to be ordered
• Schedule inspections, as needed
• Visit job sites and manage project foremen/crews
