Simmons Bank is seeking a Home Equity Product Manager to own and grow the Home Equity portfolio, including loans and lines of credit. You will shape the product strategy, pricing recommendations, and customer experience while partnering with Consumer, Retail, and Marketing teams to deepen relationships and profitability.
Your role will manage lifecycle activities, analyze portfolio performance, and drive initiatives that improve retention and cross-sell opportunities across multiple channels.
The Home Equity Product Manager is responsible for the strategic management, growth, profitability, pricing, and evolution of the Bank’s Home Equity portfolio, including Home Equity Loans, Home Equity Lines of Credit, and future home-secured lending solutions. This role serves as the business owner for the Home Equity product portfolio, leading product strategy, pricing recommendations, competitive positioning, customer experience enhancements, portfolio analytics, and product development initiatives. The role is accountable for driving both front-book growth and back-book engagement while identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships, increase household profitability, and improve customer retention.
Serve as the primary product owner for the Home Equity lending portfolio. Develop and execute product strategies that support growth, profitability, customer acquisition, and relationship deepening objectives. Manage the full lifecycle of Home Equity products, including development, launch, enhancement, performance management, and retirement. Identify market gaps, customer needs, and emerging opportunities within the home-secured lending space. Evaluate competitive market offerings and recommend product enhancements that strengthen the bank’s position. Establish and maintain a multi-year product roadmap aligned with organizational priorities. Develop new lending solutions that strengthen primary banking relationships and household profitability. Identify opportunities to leverage home equity products as a broader relationship acquisition and retention strategy. Partner with Consumer Banking, Retail Banking, and Marketing teams to create customer engagement and cross-sell initiatives. Evaluate opportunities to expand digital capabilities, self-service functionality, and simplified customer experiences. Assess emerging industry trends and fintech developments impacting consumer lending. Lead pricing analysis and recommendation development for Home Equity products. Analyze rate sensitivity, customer behavior, utilization trends, portfolio migration, and competitor pricing. Develop promotion pricing, relationship pricing, and targeted customer retention programs. Monitor portfolio health, growth, utilization, retention, profitability, and customer engagement metrics. Analyze customer behavior patterns and lending trends to inform strategic recommendations. Partner with analytics teams to improve forecasting, performance monitoring, and portfolio segmentation capabilities. Drive efforts to simplify the customer journey from application through servicing. Identify and remove friction points that impact customer satisfaction and adoption. Champion customer-centric product design and continuous improvement initiatives. Gather customer and frontline feedback to inform future enhancements.
Ability to translate customer needs, market insights, and financial analysis into practical product strategies. Strong executive presence and ability to represent the function with senior leaders, field leaders, internal partners, and external stakeholders. Ability to navigate complex organizational environments and multiple stakeholder priorities. Willingness to travel periodically for meetings, market visits, and industry conferences. High degree of professionalism, judgement, discretion, and accountability.
