Job summary

TEKsystems seeks Home Equity processors to join the Lending Team on a contract basis through year-end in Troy, MI. You will manage full-cycle home equity processing, from application to closing, with a focus on customer service and collaboration to reduce pipeline bottlenecks.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of full-cycle mortgage or home equity processing experience and can coordinate appraisals, flood certifications, and payoff gathering as needed.

Qualifications

• at least 2 to 3 years of FULL CYCLE mortgage or home equity PROCESSING experience.
• high member contact - this role has a big customer service focus to it.
• one team approach - willing to help others to decrease the pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Managing 25 to 30 files per person (once fully trained).
• Processing home equity loans from start to finish.
• Reviewing income information (ie. Pay stubs).
• Orderg appraisals if needed.
• Ordering flood certification.
• Gathering payoff information.
• Reviewing mortgagee clause.
• Preparing files for closing and sending to underwriting.
• Arrange closing.
