Job summary

The RISE Group Inc. is seeking a Residential Inspector to perform in-home quality assurance inspections of subcontracted work for customers. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, on-site at our Worcester, MA office.

You will train crews, document findings with photos, and resolve minor deficiencies during visits. Travel to customer homes is required daily; a valid license and the ability to pass background checks are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of building construction/remodeling experience.
• Experience interacting with customers and contractors.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily to customers’ homes.
• Able to pass criminal background and drug screening tests.
• Willingness to obtain BPI Envelope Professional certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home quality assurance inspections of subcontracted work.
• Interpret written and sketched work orders and coordinate with installation crews.
• Document findings with photos and detailed inspection reports.
• Create and approve change orders; obtain homeowner signatures.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, contractors, municipal officials and the RISE office.
