Job summary

Accendra Health, Fort Worth branch, is seeking a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patients' homes. You’ll educate patients on equipment use and provide high‑quality service as part of a small, supportive team.

The role emphasizes patient safety, dependable schedules, and on‑call responsibilities with a transparent rotation. Prioritizes hands‑on work and strong customer interactions in a community‑based setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and set-ups.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needs
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs
• Perform routine vehicle checks
• Support additional duties as assigned
