Job summary

Werres Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems, install, perform repairs and scheduled maintenance on customer equipment based on demand. The role requires traveling to customer sites in a shop environment, maintaining a service van and documenting calls with a high standard of safety and customer service.

The position involves heavy physical work, use of voltmeters/multimeters, reading schematics, and driving as part of a 40+ hour workweek

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1–3 years mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1–3 years mechanical & electrical experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to use computer and iPad.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems and perform repairs.
• Install and perform scheduled maintenance on customer equipment.
• Document service calls clearly and accurately.
• Operate and maintain service van and tools.
• Follow safety rules and dispose of hazardous waste properly.
• Provide professional customer service and promote goodwill.
