Job summary

Werres Corporation in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems, install and repair equipment, and perform scheduled maintenance at customer sites and in shop environments.

Training is provided to become a Raymond Certified Technician (Basic to Master). The role includes a 40+ hour work week, benefits, a company vehicle, and opportunities for growth within a long-standing material handling equipment provider.

Qualifications

• High school education with mechanical/electrical experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals and follow instructions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to perform heavy physical work and operate shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems on customer equipment.
• Install, perform repairs and scheduled maintenance per contract.
• Prepare service call documentation in a neat, accurate manner.
• Follow safety rules and maintain clean, organized service van.
• Maintain parts inventory and ensure vehicle is roadworthy.
• Provide customer service that promotes goodwill and satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
