AgUpdate seeks an experienced RN to support home dialysis patients in the San Antonio area. The role involves training patients and caregivers in HHD/PD techniques, infection control, and emergency procedures, with home visits to ensure safety and compliance.

You will provide direct patient care, monitor dialysis patients, and coordinate activities within ESRD regulations. On-call duties extend after hours and holidays, with mentorship from leaders in the Dialysis program.

Qualifikationen

• RN with ≥2 years of RN experience and ≥6 months in home dialysis.
• Texas RN license required; BSN preferred.
• National Dialysis Certification preferred; BLS/ACLS as applicable.

Aufgaben

• Trains patients and care partners on HHD/PD techniques and infection control.
• Performs home visits to assess environment, safety, and compliance.
• Provides direct patient care and monitors renal dialysis patients.
• Coordinates home dialysis activities under ESRD regulations.
• On-call responsibilities for patient and care partner support during/after hours and holidays.
• Receives mentoring from the Patient Care Coordinator and Dialysis Director.
