Position Summary

As a Home Delivery Driver for Mom’s Meals, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their meals for the upcoming week. Your responsibilities include loading and unloading prepacked meal boxes from designated cold storage and delivering them to our customers’ homes. Providing prompt delivery and excellent customer service reflects our Core Values at Mom’s Meals.

Schedule: 5-day work week, Monday-Friday

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:

• Safely operate company vehicle and obey traffic laws at all times
• Load meals into the company vehicle at designated cold storage facilities
• Deliver meals to clients, often into their homes
• Make phone calls to clients regarding delivery issues or regional updates
• Accurately record deliveries on the MMHD delivery application
• Follow all food sanitation and safety procedures
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment safely
• Report equipment failures and vehicle damage immediately
• Assist with vehicle and driver audits
• Ensure deliveries comply with established protocols

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent DMV record
• Good communication skills; able to speak/read/write English
• Proficient with smartphones and GPS routing
• Basic math skills
• Ability to drive in various weather and traffic conditions
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions
• Experience adhering to company policies and core values
• Pass post-offer drug screening and background check
• Pass post-offer MVR lookup

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Previous delivery experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Lift up to 40 lbs, with push and pull capabilities
• Good visual perception including peripheral vision and depth perception
• Ability to perform repetitive movements
• Work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
