The position requires reliable attendance, ability to read maps, maintain HIPAA confidentiality, and a valid driver’s license. You will coordinate meal packing, assist with route coverage, and work closely with staff, volunteers, and clients.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Home Delivered Meals program.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to properly deliver the correct meals to clients by discerning diet code markings.
• Ability to maintain a professional attitude and meet time/service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare routes at the food caterer location for meals distribution.
• Deliver noon meals to homebound elderly in the southwest Omaha area.
• Oversee meal distribution by route and ensure correct meal counts.
• Read city maps and identify client addresses accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information (HIPAA) and comply with applicable rules.
