Job summary

Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging (ENOA) is seeking a Home Delivered Meals Driver for the LaVista area to deliver noon meals to homebound elderly. Typical shift is 2–3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, as scheduled.

The role requires reliable attendance, HIPAA confidentiality, and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. You should be able to read maps, lift up to 25 pounds, and maintain a professional demeanor while serving clients.

Qualifications

• Must report to work regularly and reliably.
• Confidentiality of client information and HIPAA compliance.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read city maps and identify meal program addresses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver noon meals to homebound elderly.
• Operate a motor vehicle and navigate the service area.
• Assist in meal distribution at caterer and satellite locations as needed.
• Complete time sheets and mileage forms promptly.
• Notify central office of any delivery difficulties; perform other duties as assigned.
