Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking drivers for a semi-local CDL-A role serving a Meijers account with 100% no-touch freight and regional lanes within 150 miles of the yard. Expect nights and weekend work, home daily after each shift, and 50–60 hours weekly across 10–12 hour shifts.

New Jersey-based operations emphasize 100% home time, with consistent loops to regional hubs and slip-seat operations on daycabs. Hazmat endorsement is optional but preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card are required.
• Hazmat Endorsement is preferred but not required.
• Solid driving record and clean work history with mandatory drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Handle freight without manual loading/unloading when possible (No-Touch Freight).
• Operate within a 150-mile radius of the yard.
• Conduct regional hub drops and standard inter-yard movements.
• Slip-seat operation on daycabs; mounting containers on DOT-legal chassis.
