Job summary

Salt City Trucking is hiring for a semi-local CDL-A pestimate regional lane that gets you home several times during the week. You’ll work nights and weekends on a 600-mile radius with 100% no-touch freight and a slip-seat daycab setup. Meijers account and dry van/refers; flips at ramps are occasional.

Expect solid weekly pay with overtime potential, full corporate benefits, and a home daily schedule. Minimum 3 months CDL-A experience required; Hazmat preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the dispatch yard.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not strictly required.
• Solid driving record, clean work history, and mandatory drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Freight handling: 100% No-Touch Freight (live loads/unloads, preloads, and drop-and-hook).
• Running radius: Within 600 miles of yard.
• Common loops: Regional hub drops including runs into other yards.
• Equipment & gear: Slip-seat operation driving clean daycabs.
• Ramp operations: Occasional 30–60 minute wait times for flips at the ramp.
