Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Grimes, IA is seeking a professional delivery driver to serve customers and unload/load materials. You will deliver materials, assist with loading, and ensure accurate delivery tickets, while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a customer-focused approach. The position offers day shifts, potential overtime, and opportunities for growth with a leading plumbing and HVAC distributor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Follow all DOT standards and maintain a DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with loading/unloading.
• Background in warehouse operations, shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, including loading/unloading and ensuring delivery tickets.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credits.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; refuel as needed; report issues to supervisor.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse staff with picking/packing orders and stocking materials.
• Work overtime as needed and comply with PPE requirements.
