Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc is hiring a professional truck driver to safely transport and deliver explosive supplies to job sites. You will handle loading, unloading, and maintaining accurate records, while complying with DOT regulations and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes daily home time, a Monday–Friday schedule, and adherence to safety standards. Training opportunities and a strong benefits package are offered as the team grows across the East Coast.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements.
• DOT medical fitness card and acceptable driving record.
• Experience with hazardous materials transportation and intercity trucking.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport explosives to company job sites using Class B vehicles; may use Class C as needed.
• Maintain accurate load manifests and shipping documents.
• Receive product at magazines and store in inventory.
• Load product onto distribution vehicle and unload at job sites.
• Ensure loads are secured and comply with DOT safety rules.
• Follow state/local traffic laws and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Report incidents/ accidents and communicate status to supervisor.
