Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting, Precision Blasting division, is seeking a driver to safely transport equipment and supplies to work sites in a team-oriented, Employee-Owned environment. The role includes pre/post trip inspections, load security, and adherence to DOT regulations.

You will coordinate with the Mobilization Supervisor to maximize efficiency, maintain logs, and ensure driver safety. A Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement and DOT medical certification.
• Clean motor vehicle record and safe driving history.
• Experience with lowboy/freight hauling and heavy equipment transport is preferred.
• Solid understanding of Federal DOT and State regulations for trucking and interstate commerce.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Pass background check for ATF possession requirements and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport equipment and stock materials to daily job sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and document deficiencies.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with DOT rules.
• Coordinate with Mobilization Supervisor to maximize trailer time utilization.
• Maintain accurate E-log and vehicle inspection reports and follow traffic laws.
