Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises in Richmond, VA is seeking a Delivery Driver to bring needed materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure accurate delivery documentation.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, follow DOT regulations, and coordinate with warehouse staff to pull and stage orders. The role requires 21+ and a valid driver’s license with DOT compliance. This position offers daily home time and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain DOT compliance.
• DOT medical card current or ability to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience in warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and delivery is a plus.
• Strong customer-focused communication and safe driving record.
• Comfort with technology, including use of tablets (iPad).

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers and assist with loading/unloading.
• Validate returns and process credits.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE.
• Assist with pulling, stocking, and staging orders as needed.
• Support overtime as required.
