Job summary

Metalico in Pittsburgh is seeking a Class A/B CDL Driver to safely operate a roll-off truck, deliver and remove boxes, and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and interact professionally with customers.

The role requires 21+ years old, a valid CDL, clean driving record, DOT medical card, and ability to operate manual transmissions. Training provided; local routes with yard operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or combination of experience & technical training.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Clean or acceptable driving record.
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or able to obtain prior to hire.
• Must not have any DUI’s within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
• Must not have any license suspensions within the last 2 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate a roll-off truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Provide roll off delivery and removal services to customers on assigned route(s).
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload roll off boxes.
• Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs.
• Maintain and update drivers log sheets.
• Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
• Operate and maintain records in accordance with FMCSR, DOT and company policies.
• Ability to drive truck with a manual transmission.
