Meijer Inc. is hiring a Truck Driver for home daily local routes in Newport, MI. This full-time position emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and professional representation of the Meijer Fleet.

You will operate Class A vehicles, unload is done by dock staff, and you must meet the company’s safety standards. The role offers year-round work on a Monday–Friday style schedule with options for day and night shifts, including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A license and Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain one).
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience or completion of an accredited CDL training program.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, road test, and pre-employment drug screen; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local routes.
• Deliver freight from distribution centers to stores on schedule.
• Complete yard switching and trailer movements as needed; follow safety regulations.
