Averitt is seeking a CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver to join our team in the Greensboro/Greensboro-adjacent area. This local route offers home daily, a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, and predictable daily start times based on dispatch.

You will deliver within a 300-mile radius from Greensboro, handle loading/unloading with live unloads, and enjoy a strong benefits package including health coverage and PTO. Training is provided, and paid time off is included after probation.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 to 11 months' verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 2 years OR 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 5 years.
• Must have a Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Load freight and unload freight with required lift capacity.
• Secure loads with chains and hardware; perform tarp when required.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and drive with regular, predictable attendance.
• Deliver within a 300-mile radius from Greensboro, NC.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping on equipment and property.
