Averitt is looking for a dedicated local CDL-A truck driver to deliver building materials within a 300-mile radius of Greensboro, NC. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule, home daily, and no weekend work, with a typical shift from early morning to late afternoon.

Qualifications

• Must have 6–11 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 2 years or 1 year within the past 5 years and complete our paid training program.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload freight and secure loads with chains and hardware.
• Drive and operate 53' trailers; live unloads only.
• Complete delivery receipts and fuel tickets; perform pre-trip inspections.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance and safety compliance.
