Job summary

Ross Express is seeking a CDL-A Line Haul Driver in West Springfield, MA to transport freight between terminal locations during overnight hours. You will be home daily, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include safe operation of CMVs, accurate record keeping, DOT compliance, and vehicle inspections. A clean driving record, required DOT physical, and a negative pre-employment drug screen are mandatory, with hazmat endorsement preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of commercial vehicle driving experience is required.
• DOT physical examination is required.
• Pre-employment drug screen with negative result is required.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of commercial vehicles during overnight hours.
• Transport freight between Ross Express terminal locations.
• Maintain driver logs and perform vehicle inspections.
• Follow all federal requirements for hazardous materials when applicable.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and proper maintenance.
